I am Bungo Saito (born in 1957).

As you all have pleasures of life through jobs or hobbies, I have lived my life with

photographsas my sincere pleasurable friend.

My activity is aimed at healing hearts through act of imagination by feeling "bliss"

of this generation.

Such aim may be told through the title, "Healing Photograph", and may be seen in

my works.

I have taken this time to think about my feeling in starting this activity.

It is all about what I feel in taking photographs.

　

My ancestors had lived their lives through cultivating fields and making rice.

In spare moments, they must have stretched out their curled backs in the field,

and gazed at the big sky feeling the blowing wind.

Time to time, they might have given ears to the sounds coming from far footpaths

between rice fields and enjoyed imagining many things.

Things that I feel could be felt by many others, and I have taken such experiences

as my life support.

My photographs seem to have created through inheriting 100% of ancestors' feeling.

　

I would like to revive ancestors' heart, which moves slowly with the sun,

through my "healing photograph" activity.
